Enric H. Adillon
Profile
Cross-Resnick First Year Fellow 2020
Enric is a first year PhD student in chemistry and chemical engineering. He grew up in northern New Jersey outside New York City and attended Boston College for his BS in chemistry. There, he conducted research under the guidance of Jeffery A. Byers, studying the properties and catalysis of porous materials, with a focus on transforming CO2 into renewable fuel candidates. He also gained an appreciation for the challenges of converting atmospheric gases into value-added chemical feedstocks. He aspires to affect the transformation of water and atmospheric gases into fuels, consumables, and everything humans need to create a sustainable future. He holds a strong conviction that understanding the fundamental properties of transition metals will enable us to achieve sustainability.
