Programs

The cornerstone of our programming is research support. The Resnick Sustainability Institute provides targeted research funds to support projects in our core research initiatives. In addition, we fund exploratory research projects and fellowships across disciplines that are charting new directions in sustainability focused science and technology. These projects are generally high-risk and require interdisciplinary collaboration.

We also support collaborations with corporate partners and visiting researchers, as well education and mentorship for entrepreneurial students, staff and faculty. These opportunities connect researchers to industry and enrich the Caltech community beyond its core network of scholars, creating exchanges that accelerate the flow of ideas and information. As further encouragement, we will support appropriate student-led initiatives on a case-by-case basis.
