Postdoctoral Researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
Ying Shi Teh
Profile
Alumni Resnick Graduate Research Fellow
Ying Shi was a graduate student in mechanical engineering. She completed her undergraduate degree in engineering science at the National University of Singapore. At Caltech, she focuses on studying density functional theory (DFT) as a first-principles approach to defect study in perovskite solar cells. She is interested in exploring the interactions of defect states in perovskite materials and their effects on photovoltaic performance. This could serve as guidance on systematically improving the efficiency of solar cells, hence bringing us one step closer to developing an efficient and low-cost solution for renewable energy.
Ying Shi is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
